They tell you you need a blog
They say a WordPress blog is easy to install and easy to use.
They tell you to buy your own domain name.
And get hosting.
They promise you’ll be up and running in minutes.
And they claim readers and potential customers and clients will come looking for you.
You’re thinking they might as well ask you to rope the moon!
I used to be one of them. I used to be quick to recommend a WordPress blog, thinking it was as easy as falling off a log.
But then I helped someone set up a website using the platform and realized that all the things that are second nature to me, aren’t so simple for someone who doesn’t have as much online experience or who has never bought a domain or set up hosting.
But it’s not impossible and with a little help, you can learn how to start a blog and make it a success.
I’ll help.
Whether you are brand new to the Internet, or have a good deal of experience online, you’ll find help for whatever obstacles you are facing in creating a successful blog. Start where you need to. I’ll take you step-by-step through the process of choosing where to blog, how to set up and customize your blog, what to write about, how to make the best use of content written by other people, and how to attract the readers you want.
You can do it, and you don’t have to go it alone.
